Okay.. this year hasn't been so terribly inspiring..

Yeah, I know.. I haven't
 posted too many blogs about God or holiness
 or any good stuff like that lately  
To be honest, I haven't been feeling too 
terribly divine about anything.. I mean, 
Pat and the boys have been pretty 
quiet since the Republican losses in the States, 
and one almost feels like all the tension with Iraq 
is wearing down peoples ability to discuss 
religion in a civilized manner anymore..  
it doesn't matter whether you ascribe to Christianity,
Islam, or any other religion.. It's amazing how 
politics can sour a mood, eh? Now we have all 
these security measures
that apparently have nothing to do with 
racial profiling, or religious 
profiling to be more exact.. that's what concerns me
I think revelations talks about this.. 
 I mean, right now, the target is people 
who are Islamic who are being profiled.. 
the reality is that it could come back to 
bite us on the asses in the future.. is 
it really that unforeseeable to imagine 
Christianity or any other religion being 
profiled because of the politics of the 
day? I hope it never gets to that point.. 
Hopefully, saner heads will prevail in 
the upcoming months while we struggle 
with this new world of security measures 
we now live in..
